Release date and where to watch
Stiletto opens in US theaters on Friday, October 30, 2026, the day before Halloween. The Horror Section announced it as a wide theatrical release. The number of theaters has not been announced.
No streaming, digital rental or purchase date has been announced. The Horror Section's earlier films went to theaters first and to digital a few weeks later. Jimmy and Stiggs opened on August 15, 2025 and reached digital on October 1. Dream Eater opened on October 24, 2025 and reached digital on November 18. Roth's own Ice Cream Man opened on August 7, 2026 and reached digital on September 22. That is a pattern, not a date for this film.

What it is about
Lyric (Gigi Gustin) lost her older sister, an exotic dancer, to a killer a year ago. On the anniversary of the murder, a masked killer starts targeting dancers again, and Lyric sets out to find the person responsible.
The distributor's synopsis describes "a serial killer with a specific kink" who is "stalking and slaughtering his favorite performers to feed his perverse collection of pumps."
Is it scary?

Gonzalez Jr. has called it "a seductive neon fever dream soaked in blood," and Roth, a producer, called it "one of the most fun, original, and exciting slasher films I have ever seen." The Horror Section
The Horror Section is a horror company Eli Roth founded in 2025 with Jon Schnaars, its chief executive. It raised money from fans through the crowdfunding platform Republic.
Stiletto is the fourth film it has released in theaters, after Jimmy and Stiggs (2025), Dream Eater (2025) and Ice Cream Man (2026). Roth did not direct Stiletto. He is one of its producers.
Who made it
Samuel Gonzalez Jr. directed Stiletto and co-wrote it with Gigi Gustin. His earlier films include The Retaliators (2022), which he co-directed.
Gustin plays Lyric and is also a producer, alongside Eli Roth and Matthew Hersh. Colleen Camp, Tyler Abron, Charlotte McKinney and Catherine Corcoran co-star.
Not the 2008 Stiletto
Several films are called Stiletto. The best known before this one is a 2008 action film directed by Nick Vallelonga, with Tom Berenger, Michael Biehn and Stana Katic, which went to DVD in 2009. It is unrelated.
