The Sixth Sense(1999)

There's so many good things to say about this movie, and it's safe to say that in 2026 this film has stood the test of time easily and will likely continue to do so. This is M. Night Shyamalan's magnum opus - the direction is stellar, deft, and beautiful. The human emotions on display are powerful and manages to vary from the warmth of love to the utterly frightening. Haley Joel Osment has forever etched himself as an amazing actor, especially as a child, it doesn't even seem possible how someone young of age could display such complicated nuance in the varying emotions on display. Beautiful, warm, cold, scary and a twist for the ages.
