The Meg

2018 · PG-13 · 1h 53m

A prehistoric shark the size of a bus is very, very hungry.

When a deep-sea research mission inadvertently breaches an unexplored thermal layer beneath the Pacific Ocean, it releases something that was never supposed to resurface: a Megalodon, a sixty-foot prehistoric shark long thought extinct. With the creature now hunting in open waters, a reluctant rescue diver and a team of scientists must stop it before it reaches a crowded shoreline. Equal parts summer blockbuster and creature feature, The Meg leans hard into spectacle over scares.
