Cuando acecha la maldad

Uncovered this gem on amazon randomly and highly recommend it to those who like possession/supernatural films. Stand outs to me was the extremely detailed and gruesome practical effects work. Without spoiling it I'll just say that this isn't a movie you should watch while eating (or have eaten recently). No use of CGI really created a raw experience that was immersive - always appreciate good use of practical effects, often times when done right they can tell the story and create fear better than computer imagery can. Other stand outs to me was the acting, I didn't recognize any of the actors (I think this might be my first Argentinian film), but they all did an excellent job in elevating the material. Story was paced really well, was invested the whole time. Watch this!
