It Ends(2025)

This is one of those polarizing movies, I personally fall into the camp of disliking it. The movie is an allegory, which on its own isn't why I didn't like it. What didn't work for me is the shape of it, I found it to be an exercise in willpower, the willpower to stick with it so I can see the end unfold. There is no payoff in the film, so you aren't rewarded for hanging around. Please excuse this overused corny cliche, but it is about the journey not the destination (and this is quite literally a motif in the film). I just didn't like the journey. I can't recommend this to anyone, I couldn't find any redeeming value in it.
