Breeder(2026)

The best thing about Breeder is Dot-Marie Jones, her presence has its own gravitational pull, a physical and psychological terror that unnerves more than the premise of the film. She is the true horror and I think if it focused on that, it's a better movie. Pros • Dot-Marie Jones • Dot-Marie Jones • The unknown (to me, and likely others) actor Daniel Doheny as Russell. He plays his part perfectly as the borderline genius with a subservient and meek attitude that amplifies Dot-Marie Jones. Cons • Story dragged too much and wasn't justified to take that much time in the first half. This resulted in me feeling like the payoff wasn't quite there based on what was asked of the audience.
