From Dusk Till Dawn(1996)

What makes this special is that as you watch, it ramps up all throughout with increasing velocity - tension, action, anticipation. The energy pulses and oozes through the screen. Why is it horror? I can't spoil that, but it's well done and well deserved after exercising some restraint in the reveal. Don't bring your kids to this one. This movie is just cool. It's badass, over the top, and drips with style. Snappy writing you'd expect from Tarantino, fantastic lead characters (and great side characters as well), and a visual feast for the eyes. An instant classic, and a movie I'll revisit with the same excitement. Watch this one.
