Double or nothing.
Surviving one murderous family was the warm-up. Now six of them are coming.
Moments after surviving the Le Domas massacre, Grace MacCaullay discovers her victory has triggered an even deadlier game: a council of six elite families, each bound by an ancient devil's pact, wants her dead, and whoever kills her claims ultimate power over them all.

Grace MacCaullay, blood-soaked and shell-shocked, reunites with her estranged sister Faith at a hospital in the immediate aftermath of the Le Domas massacre. But her survival wasn't the end of anything — it was an invitation. A Council of six elite families, each bound by the same ancient devil's pact that governed the Le Domas clan, convenes at the sprawling Danforth estate to play a new game: whoever kills Grace claims the High Seat and control over everything the Council commands. Twin heirs Ursula and Titus Danforth open by murdering their own father Chester to enter simultaneously. When the impatient Bill Wilkinson attempts to kill Grace before the official start, the pact's enforcement mechanism activates instantly — Wilkinson and his entire family detonate in a spray of blood, eliminating themselves before the game even begins. Grace and Faith are kidnapped and brought to the Danforth complex, where a lawyer representing the Council explains the terms: survive until dawn while four remaining families hunt them, or die. A loophole exists — Grace could marry into one of the elite families to end the hunt and claim the High Seat peacefully. Grace refuses. The sisters fight their way through the estate. They kill Viraj Kapoor by forcing him into an industrial washing machine. Francesca, one of the rival family heads, targets Grace personally before being killed in turn. Titus Danforth kidnaps Faith to force Grace's hand. Cornered and out of options, Grace agrees to marry Titus. During the ceremony Grace stabs him through the throat with a fountain pen; Faith kicks him into a pit. With Titus dead and no clear winner before dawn, the surviving Council guests turn on each other in a final frenzy, each trying to claim the ring and the High Seat before time runs out. The ancient pact detonates them all — a catastrophic blood explosion that eliminates every remaining Council member simultaneously. Grace and Faith walk out of the Danforth estate together, alive and finally free.
